Handheld Communications Devices for use with
MeterManager II Software
NOTICE: These handheld devices are required to
work with current version POM electronic meters, and they will
perform audits and rate changes on the previous two generations
of meters.
- Handheld program POMComm operates on Palm Tungsten E2 and Juniper Systems Archer
Field PC. (Dell has discontinued
production of Axim X30 and X51 pda's, and Palm has discontinued production
of the M515 and Tungsten T3)
- Security features include encrypted security codes and revenue files,
password security, limited access areas and communications activities.
- User-friendly touchscreen technology
- Proprietary attachments available for patented communications through
the coin slot or smartcard slot.
- Heavy duty Otter Box protective carry cases offered for the Palm.
- POM's MeterManager development is in-house for efficient tech support and
custom capabilities.
