POM will host free parking
meter service training
during the Pennsylvania Parking Association conference in
State College, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday,
September 29, 2010, 9AM-2:30PM. The location will be the
Penn Stater Conference Center, Executive Suite 1 (Garden
level), 215
Innovation Boulevard, State College, PA 16803, Phone
(800) 233-7505. We would like to invite you to participate in
this training session if you currently have POM electronic
parking meters, or if you are contemplating purchase of POM
meters. The PPA conference kicks off that evening at
the Nittany Lion Inn with
a reception in the exhibit area at 5PM.

- The
POM training
session will cover basic APM
electronic mechanism maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as
set-up and use of MeterManager software and the handheld device, such as
for performing rate changes and audits. Morning
coffee and lunch will be provided. Attendees
should bring one of their own POM electronic meter
mechanisms, coins, and a #2 phillips screwdriver. All
other class materials will be provided by the instructor, Bobra Wilbanks, Technical Sales Manager of
POM.
