FYI: each APM main circuit board is enclosed in non-corrosive GE Lexan® , which prevents electrical discharge with the circuit board and renders the mechanism more lightweight if dropped.  Lexan is the material used for motorcycle helmets, NASCAR windshields, and bullet-proof bank teller "windows".  See www.gelexan.com/gelexan/features.html.  Zinc is available for the APM-E at an additional cost, but why would you want it?
