Parkel Credit Card Module

demo POM has developed a module to fit between the upper and lower housing of POM and all major single-space meter housings. The Parktel module includes a credit card reader, wireless modem, power supply and simple button interface to add time to the meter or cancel the transaction. Contact us for more information.

New POM Installations Report Success

demo Recent installations in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, and Brookline, Massachusetts, are reporting increased revenue along with good feedback from merchants and the public. The POM meters in Lower Merion Township (Ardmore) feature free-time buttons and prepaid smart cards to make the meters more friendly and convenient. The Ardmore meters also include increased revenue security via sealed coin box system and SmartLock. Brookline's new POM Model APM-E mechanisms accept PXT prepaid cards that are distributed, reloaded, and accepted for payment at participating merchant locations. The merchants in both these towns have formed new alliances with their respective parking management.

POM Exhibits and Training Schools

demo POM products were exhibited this year at the NJ League of Municipalities and the NJ Parking Institute conferences in Atlantic City; the California Public Parking Association conference in Oakland; the Pennsylvania Parking Association conference in Bethlehem; the National Parking Association conference in Las Vegas; and the IPI conference in Pittsburgh. Recent POM training schools were held in Bethlehem, PA; Norfolk, VA; and Red Bank, NJ.
